Children
"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!" (Psalm 127:3-5a, ESV)
It is true that children are a blessing and a gift from the Lord. But He doesn't just give them to us to do as we please. When God blesses us with children, He is entrusting us with a precious life that He created, loves, and died for - and He is entrusting them to us that we might teach them to know and love God. While children are a wonderful blessing, the calling to raise them in the "discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4) is not always an easy road to walk on. There are bumps, unexpected turns, and lots of potholes. But God gives us everything we need through His Word and His Spirit to persevere in the rewarding journey of parenting.
At NHBC, we want to partner with you, equipping and encouraging you as you instruct and train your children to walk with Christ. There are a variety of ways that we want to do this.
Sunday School
There are classes for Pre K to 6th grade every Sunday where they will learn more about who God is and how they can live for Him. Classes are at 9:00 AM.
A staffed nursery is offered at 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM.

This is our Wednesday evening program for children 4 years through 6th grade. It runs from 6:15 PM -7:45 PM​ in the months of September through May.
Truth Trackers uses Bible memory, Bible devotions and Bible lessons to help children lock in Truth and live out faith! For more information contact Roger Protzman.

Child Dedication
This is not just for babies! No matter where you are in your parenting journey, it's never too late to dedicate yourself and your child to living for Christ. We have Child Dedications once or twice a year. Contact the office to learn more!
